Ronnie Drew was the creator of the dubliners even though he did quit 3 times to do jazz instead of folk music. he sang most of the songs after Luke died and played guitar. he often looked bored out of his mind while singing. in 2007 he was diagnosed with throat cancer and died august 10th 2008. at the age of 73
